BIBLE STUDY
A number of bible study groups meet on a regular basis in Silver Lakes for reflection and discussion on the bible.

BIRD CLUB
The Bird Club regularly organises not only fascinating speakers to address its members but also arranges local outings to interesting environs. The Club is open to all residents who have an interest in birds and who have a love for the natural environment. You do not need to have any background or experience in birding, so join this Club and come make new friends.

BRIDGE CLUB
The Bridge Club is a popular Club. The number of members of this Club has grown steadily and currently stands at well over twenty. The Club has been in operation for the last ten years and meets every Tuesday evening at the Clubhouse.

BUSINESS CLUB
The aim of the Business Club is to facilitate networking between residents and to hold meetings to which prominent guests are invited to speak on matters of public interest.

FISHING CLUB
The Fishing Club has developed into a vibrant and dynamic Club. Only Club members may fish in the designated lakes and dams in the Estate. The dams in Silver Lakes are mainly stocked with bass, bream, carp and barbell. All fish caught must be released. Various exciting events are organised by the Club throughout the year including competitions and weekends away.

RECYCING PROGRAMME - "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"
Silver Lakes has a successful recycling programme that has been running for several years. Items collected include waste paper, glass bottles, tins, flattened boxes and plastic. Recycling is collected every Monday morning excluding public holidays.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
A portion of the monthly levy paid to the HOA by homeowners is distributed to local charities and needy causes.

WINE CLUB
In 2017 with the opening of the 41 Wine Shop at the Clubhouse, the idea of starting a Wine Club really gained momentum. More than 40 residents have signed up to join this Club. We are looking forward to hosting many successful wine tasting evenings.
